Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead our culinary operations alongside our Executive Chef, ensuring top-notch food production.

• Step into the role of department head in the Executive Chef's absence.

• Maintain adherence to HACCP guidelines, guaranteeing safe, efficient, and sanitary food handling.

• Contribute to menu development, manage inventory, oversee purchasing, and optimize food costs.

• Manage staff, including hiring, training, and performance development.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A.O.S. Degree in Culinary Arts, culinary certificate, or equivalent with 3-5 years of culinary experience.

• 2-5 years of culinary or kitchen management experience.

• Proven catering and banquet experience.

• Strong grasp of current food and catering trends, emphasizing quality, sanitation, and presentation.

• Experience in batch or high-volume cooking.

• ServSafe Certification.
