About the role

CBRE is seeking a CAD Operator with experience in MEP design, site survey, manufacturing or data center robotics-centric automation solutions. This client is committed to the successful implementation of autonomous and semi-autonomous vehicles throughout multiple datacenters. The Drafter will report to the Client-approved location:

  • Hybrid in San Jose, CA

What you’ll do

  • Capacity Planning and Constraints Management technical operations services

  • Perform cable length calculations within AutoCAD following defined routing schemes

  • Escalate to senior team members as needed for advanced issues

  • Management of complex spreadsheets, including progress tracking and cable length data as appropriate

  • Perform analytics and problem solving relative to data center cable network planning and electrical power domains

  • Contribute to Networking team process improvement discussions on standards and procedures

  • Provide testing support for custom CAD applications

  • Provide an additional level of interaction and information sharing between internal client teams

  • Other duties as assigned.

What you’ll need

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience

  • Proficient in AutoCAD or Revit

  • PMP or LEED preferred

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary is $80,000 annually and the maximum salary is $110,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
