Job Description

The Behavior Analyst will work with the Leadership Team of the Adult Day Program, providing clinical oversight and guidance of program services to adults attending Day Programs. The Behavior Analyst will have a solid sense of teamwork and working with a diverse population, mainly serving as the Clinical Lead of the program. The Behavior Analyst will also assist the Program Manager and other Executives associated with the program to create program guidelines, expectations and general oversight of services on a part-time basis.

Essential Job Functions:

• Develop and implement functional behavioral assessment and behavioral intervention plans for consumers assigned to attend the Day Program.

• Review, plan, and approve program guidelines in association with other program managers and leadership team members.

• Provide clinical guidance and oversight to Direct Care Staff members. 

• Assist management team with program policies, regulations, and any clinical operations, as needed, per request by supervisor. 

• Annually review program design components, make adjustments as needed, and update new regulations specified by DDS, Title 17, and/or Lanterman Act, etc. 

• Occasionally visit program site to ensure safe work environment for attending participants and staff members. 

• Make service recommendations and program guidelines specific to attending participants, per review of individual behavioral/service plans, in accordance to best clinical practices. 

• Ensures that all program services capture specifics and expectations of the Person-Centered Practices and its principles. 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Licensed as a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA)

• Have at least a year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. 

• Have at least a year of supervisory or leadership experience, preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Employees in this position must have:

• Familiarity and applicable skills of basic software/computer applications (MS Word, Email, etc.).

• Work remotely and in-office, as needed. Position is a hybrid position, so candidate must be available for occasional in-office work.

• Understanding of behavioral plans, intervention techniques, and other relevant skills required to review and approve treatment plans in accordance with individual clients and their needs. 

• The availability to commit to a minimum of 20 hours/month to the role. More hours can be available, but candidate must be able to commit to 20 hours/month. 

Salary Rate: $55-60/hour (depending on experience and availability to commit to work hours); Part-time position, so no benefits, but can be available, if candidate can commit to 30+ hours/week on an ongoing basis.
