Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in San Jose, California for an Accounts Payable Specialist. This role is instrumental in the finance department, with a focus on managing vendor accounts within our accounting system. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of NetSuite and be adept at handling a range of accounting functions.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the processing and management of all vendors within our accounting system, NetSuite.

• Accurately processing vendor bills in NetSuite, ensuring they align with purchase orders.

• Scheduling vendor payments and ensuring their timely disbursement.

• Recording all non-ACH vendor payments within NetSuite efficiently.

• Reviewing and processing employee expense reports for both reimbursable expenses and corporate card transactions.

• Efficiently handling the deposit of checks and cash, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

• Recording incoming payments, including checks, direct deposits and electronic transfers.

• Cooperating with other departments to resolve discrepancies and provide necessary support.

• Keeping organized files for accounts payable documents and other financial records.

• Assisting with additional accounting and finance-related tasks as required. Requirements • Proficient in Account Coding and Accrual Accounting

• Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems and Automated Clearing House (ACH) processes

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services and Concur software

• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems

• Able to perform various Accounting Functions and manage Accounts Payable (AP)

• Prior experience in Auditing and a strong understanding of relevant regulations

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred

• Relevant certifications, such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), are a plus

• Should have legal authorization to work in the specified location.
