The Vice President of National Integration Services leads the Enterprise Integration Platforms, Business-specific Integration Products, and the supporting Governance + Enablement function. The enterprise integration capabilities include the API Gateway, Enterprise Service Bus, Enterprise File and Enterprise Messaging. This executive role operates at a System level and influences business and IT leadership to allow teams to focus on delivering significant value to the lines of business and supporting the modernization and migration to cloud and co-lo. Responsibilities include strategic partnerships with senior leaders across key business lines, staffing/financial planning and engagement with NIT/SF finance, platform and product delivery and operations, security and reliability, compliance and serves as the System owner for all governance of enterprise integration product platforms for the System.

Primary Accountabilities:

  • Product line leadership for all enterprise integration platforms: API Gateway, Enterprise File, Enterprise Messaging, Enterprise Service Bus including crafting and implementing strategy, development, and operationalization of the enterprise platforms.

  • Strategic partnerships with business leaders across the System and management of delivery teams crafting integration business products using enterprise integration platforms to critically important business functions including US payment rails.

  • Develop key relationships with business and IT System senior leadership key partners.

  • Drive innovation in integration services, defining the product roadmap, and leading transformation efforts to improve offerings.

  • Enable platform and product leaders to modernize and innovate in partnership with and in anticipation of System business leadership strategies.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Secure senior management support and alignment for talent management within the function and across the broader organization, including matrixed resources from across the System.

  • As a member of FRB-San Francisco’s officer team, contribute to the development and implementation of key Group and Reserve Bank critical initiatives and priorities, Group policies and procedures and support local FRB San Francisco ITS Critical Initiative priorities and work streams important to developing and advancing the organization’s goal and business objectives.

  • Lead or participate in Twelfth District and System IT critical initiatives; regularly collaborate with executives from these areas, customers, and other executives. Work closely with business divisions to ensure seamless integration of services and alignment with overall business goals.

  • Secure budget/customer funding sources and track to budget for the portfolio and new initiatives.

  • Vendor and Partner Management: Cultivate strategic partnerships with technology vendors and service providers to improve the integration services portfolio.

  • Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure adherence to quality standards, security protocols, and regulatory compliance across all integration services.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • 15+ years of proven experience; 12+ years of dynamic people and business leadership experience

  • Proven experience (10+ years) in senior leadership roles within enterprise integration services, with a strong focus on API management, service bus technologies, messaging, and related platforms.

  • Deep understanding of Cloud-based integration solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP) as well as On-Premises integration technologies.

  • Consistent track record in product management, including development of integration products and services.

  • Extensive experience in team management, with proven track record to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence partners at all levels.

  • Strategic problem solver with a results-driven approach and a passion for innovation in enterprise technology.

  • Outstanding relationship building, business development, communication and organizational change management leadership across a large enterprise. Expertise in cloud and SaaS offerings.

  • Certification in relevant Cloud and integration technologies (e.g., MuleSoft, AWS Cloud, Apigee, Azure Cloud, API Management).

  • Experience in agile methodologies such as SAFE and DevOps practices.

  • Product management certificate or commensurate work experience leading product and platform teams.

Training/Technical skills:

  • Inspirational leader that cultivates diverse, strong teams by providing candid feedback with a focus on development and accountability; and values and promotes inclusion

  • Outstanding relationship building, business development, communication, and organizational change management leadership across a large enterprise.

  • Expertise in cloud and SaaS offerings.

  • Certification in relevant Cloud (AWS) and Integration technologies (e.g., MuleSoft, AWS, Apigee, Azure API Management).

  • Experience in agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in enterprise integration.

  • Strong understanding of the hybrid cloud integration domain.

  • Value-driven agile decision-making balancing strategic and tactical planning efforts.

  • Product management certificate or commensurate work experience leading product and platform teams.

Base Salary Range: Min: $237,800 - Mid: $314,600 - Max: $384,200 (Location: San Francisco). Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographic and other market data.
