Seeking a seasoned Senior UX Designer to drive the creation of innovative digital health experiences while emphasizing strong visual design and communication capabilities. Job Description :

This role is based out of our Innovation Center in San Francisco.

EDUCATION:

[Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma]

Bachelor's: Design, Business, Healthcare or other related field

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

12 years of recent relevant experience.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

Design Knowledge: Has deep understanding of UX design, design research (both generative and usability), synthesis and insight development, design and business strategy, prototyping in a variety of mediums, and creating plans for measuring outcomes.

Advanced skills in Digital UX

Able to engage multiple stakeholders and integrate innovation, design, and technology into viable solutions.

Healthcare Knowledge preferred, but not required: Ideally has knowledge of healthcare structures, stakeholders, regulations, constraints, challenges, trends, incentives, technology and opportunities.

An understanding of hospital and clinical processes or demonstrated ability to navigate a large complex organization.

UX Design: Can lead interdisciplinary project teams of designers, project managers and front-line clinical providers in creating new or redesigning current product.

Success in identifying, testing and implementing efficient and effective solutions that improve the patient experience, provide time/cost savings and incorporate human-centered design across Sutter Health’s care continuum.

Success in designing feedback mechanisms to measure outcomes on project viability, desirability, and feasibility.

Pay Range is $72.40 to $108.60 / hour

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
