National Institute of Standards and Technology Supervisory Management and Program Analyst in San Francisco, California

Summary NIST works with industry and science to advance innovation and improve quality of life. We're looking for a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst to join our team! This notice is issued under direct-hire authority to recruit new talent to occupations for which NIST has a severe shortage of candidates. Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of strategic stakeholder engagement, partnership, and communications coordination regarding NIST Artificial Intelligence Safety Institute (AISI) AISI implementation. Promote AI safety to departments and agencies and strategic stakeholders (including private sector, international entities, consortiums, and other AI stakeholders and organizations). Develop new mechanisms to provide information, education, and awareness of AISI with stakeholders. Translates partner engagement outcomes into sustained relationships and strategic partnerships. Establish interagency relationship coordination tools and identifies strategic partnership opportunities and mechanisms to foster sustained coordination and collaboration. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications ZA-V: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 (ZA-IV at NIST). Specialized experience is defined as experience in developing and executing strategies to connect stakeholders; experience building external narratives for complex topics and managing working groups and teams. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done. We will credit all qualifying volunteer experience in your application. The qualification requirements in this vacancy announcement are based on the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards Handbook. Applicant Reconsideration Education Qualifications are based upon meeting specialized experience only. Education cannot be used to qualify for this position.
