A non-profit organization providing free or affordable immigration law services to children seeks a Supervising Immigration Attorney. This position is in office during the onboarding/training phase, then in office 4 days/week. After the first year, the role is in office 3 days/week. Position requires (i) a license to practice law in California, or an active license elsewhere and willingness to take the February 2025 California Bar exam; (ii) 2+ years of immigration law experience; (iii) supervisory / management experience. Salary of $86,000 - 100,000 DOE + superb benefits.

Responsibilities

The supervising attorney will supervise staff attorneys and support staff; collaborate with other attorneys, social workers, legal assistants, and interns; and manage their own, modest caseload. The primary role involves supervising staff attorneys and support staff and working with other managers to run the office, make organizational decisions and improvements, and maintain a positive work environment.
