Unilever Senior Associate Brand Manager in San Francisco, California
THE ROLE: SENIOR ASSOCIATE BRAND MANAGER
Reporting to the Senior Brand Manager, the SABM will serve as a key member of the Brand Strategy Team by owning foundational business analytics - ranging from company scorecard development and share out, competitive tracking, and relevant ad-hoc analyses. You will oversee one or more product segments and be responsible for developing and stewarding segment strategy and conducting day-to-day portfolio management. You will also support the Senior Brand Manager on executing brand plans, new product innovation and renovation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead quarterly business review process in partnership with Brand Strategy team to share OLLY business performance.
Own company performance monitoring: track and analyze OLLY and category performance; monitor competition and new launches to assess impact to OLLY; identify business drivers, threats, and opportunities. Provide regular reporting to senior leadership.
Work with cross-functional teams to achieve brand objectives and ensure successful product launches.
Manage innovation and base optimization projects as assigned, in partnership with project managers and other cross-functional partners.
Develop portfolio strategies in partnership with SBM to deliver owned segments' financial goals. Champion and socialize strategies with key cross-functional partners and senior leaders.
Support Sr. Brand Manager in the execution of plans to deliver growth and profit targets including innovation go- to-market and driving the core.
THE CANDIDATE
You’re an experienced associate brand manager not afraid to dive into data, articulating problems, extracting insights, and proposing solutions. You have a passion for consumers, building brands, and executing day-to-day plans with minimal managerial oversight. CAPABILITIES + SKILLS REQUIRED
3-5+ years of experience performing marketing, product/brand management, or market research and analysis in the consumer packaged goods industry
Proven ability as a creative and innovative thinker with experience working effectively in cross-functional teams
Proficiency with using and interpreting Numerator and IRI Circana (or similar syndicated data) to develop data-driven recommendations and successfully secure buy-in from senior leadership
Must possess excellent analytical abilities and strong project management skills
Expertise manipulating large data sets in Excel with pivot tables, vlookups , etc.; experience building and maintaining performance dashboards and crafting written reports
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Strong ownership mindset and can operate with autonomy to manage project list, prioritize, and engage SBM proactively

THE DETAILS
LOCATION: : San Francisco, CA - Relocation support will not be provided for out-of-area candidates. (Hybrid - Tuesdays in office / 4 days WFH)
HOURS: Full-time, non-exempt

The pay range for this position is $ 95,000 - 115,000 dependent on experience and location.
