Operations is one of four services–the others are Accenture Song, Technology and Strategy & Consulting.

The BPO Sales Senior Manager/Associate Director manages the opportunity from sales pursuit to close using deep sales process and offering expertise. Develop relationships with key buyers and decision-makers at new and or existing clients to protect and grow the business. Act as point of contact for resolution and escalation of all key items with the client and internally.A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:

  • Provides solutions to complex business problems for areas of responsibility where analysis of situations requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.

  • Involved in setting strategic direction to establish near-term goals for area of responsibility.

  • Interacts with senior management levels at a client and/or within Accenture, which involves negotiating or influencing on significant matters.

  • Has latitude in decision-making and determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments.

  • Decisions have a lasting impact on area of responsibility with the potential to impact outside area of responsibility.

  • Manages large teams and or work efforts if in an individual contributor role at a client or within Accenture.

  • While this role is focused on capture there will be times you will be asked to participate in origination

  • Build a pipeline by originating opportunities, qualifying them and submitting a binding bid (Stage 2b)

  • Originate and sell deals typically greater than $10M that are cross client and typically cross service groups

  • Must be able to travel up to 50%

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years sales/sales support experience in professional service/consulting/BPO deals in one of the following areas: HR, F&A, Healthcare, Supply Chain, or other BPO specific sales

  • Minimum of 6 years Sales Pursuit Management experience

  • Minimum of 6 years Client Relationship and or delivery experience

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within a large, heavily matrixed company environment.

  • Experience with C-Level client relationship building and relationship management.

  • Products industry experience

  • Resources industry experience (utilities, natural resources, oil and gas)

  • Insurance industry experience

  • Banking/Capital Markets industry experience

    Professional Skills

  • Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team oriented environment.

  • Demonstrated leadership, teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting either military or civilian.

  • High energy level, sense of urgency, decisiveness and ability to work well under pressure.

  • Excellent communication written and oral and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong leadership, problem solving, and decision making abilities.

  • Professional of unquestionable integrity, credibility and character

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, New York or Washington as set forth below.
