BRIDGE Housing Corporation Property Operations Analyst in San Francisco, California

Summary

The Property Operations Analyst is responsible for activities related to section8 administration including processing Request for Tenancy Approval forms, subsidy recording, collection, and other property operations activities.

Responsibilities

  • Complete and process Request for Tenancy Approval forms received from the sites and coordinate with respective housing authorities to schedule unit inspections.

  • Coordinate with Housing authorities to execute Housing Authority Payment contract/ Tenancy addendums for new section8 tenants by submitting necessary documents.

  • Diligently track and follow up with housing authorities and site staff until move-in process is complete and Housing Authority Payment is initiated.

  • Collect and save all the subsidy statements and coordinate with housing authorities for missing receipts.

  • Set up monthly subsidy receipt tracker by coordinating with accounting team, record subsidy & general assistance receipts in Yardi.

  • Prepare owner package including bank account info and submit to housing authorities for new properties and get access to the owner portal.

  • Monitor Subsidy variance analysis and collection including San Francisco housing authority reconciliations.

  • Centralized point of contact for site staff with questions related to all Section 8 programs

  • Assist with Vacancy loss claims.

  • Prepare Housing Choice Voucher units rent increase requests, coordinate with housing authorities to get approval

  • Keep up to date with regulatory changes

  • Audit Annual rent increase notices and Yardi updates for non-subsidized units

  • Other Property Operations activities as needed

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years experience in an office setting

  • Strong computer and math skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel

  • High attention to detail and effective prioritization skills

  • Good communication skills

  • Ability to work independently

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Knowledge of section8 program, regulations pertaining to Tax Credit and other affordable housing programs
