The Salvation Army Program Aide - Fitness Center in San Francisco, California
Description
OVERVIEW:
The Program Aide – Fitness Center will be responsible for engaging with guests in the Fitness Center, Gymnasium and Welcome Desk area, as well as, assisting guests with functions of all equipment as it pertains to fitness.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greet and engage guests
Assist with guest inquiries and sales
Assist guests with the proper use of fitness and sports equipment
Encourage guests to join wellness events and programs
Maintain cleanliness of the facility and conduct all mandatory safety checks
Ensure that events, programs, and activities begin and end on time
Maintain monthly accurate statistics
Assist the Kroc Center team with accurate and detailed work orders and incident reports
Other related duties as required
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or equivalent (required)
Experience with a Point of Sales (POS) system
Experience with membership recruitment (preferred)
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Team player
Great communication skills
Excellent customer service
Bilingual in Spanish, Arabic, Cantonese/Mandarin, or Vietnamese (preferred)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to lift up to 50 Ibs.
