Description

We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Supervisor/Manager in SAN FRANCISCO, California. In this role, you will oversee payroll operations, handle inquiries from employees, and work closely with the Human Resources department. You will also be responsible for processing biweekly payroll and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee payroll operations and ensure accuracy and timeliness.

• Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding payroll.

• Collaborate closely with the Human Resources department to ensure seamless payroll operations.

• Process bi-weekly payroll timely and accurately.

• Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

• Utilize Paycom system and Excel extensively for payroll processing and record-keeping.

• Handle payroll accounting tasks as necessary.

• Supervise and provide guidance to payroll administrative staff.

• Assist in the distribution of manual checks to employees as required.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a payroll supervisory or management role

• Proficiency in using Paycom payroll software

• Experience in managing payroll for over 400 employees

• Must have experience with Unions

• Knowledge and experience in dealing with payroll for union employees

• Expertise in payroll management and related best practices

• Ability to process bi-weekly payroll efficiently and accurately
