About the Role:

As a CBRE Mobile Engineer, you will apply advanced skills to perform complex preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, building systems and equipment, vehicles, and grounds within a geographical area/route potentially across multiple sites.

What You’ll Do:

  • Inspect building systems including fire alarms, HVACR, and plumbing to ensure operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by client.

  • Coordinate and inspect the work performed by outside contractors. Contracted work includes landscaping, snow removal, remodeling, HVACR, plumbers, and cleaning.

  • Perform welding, carpentry, furniture assembly and locksmith tasks as needed.

  • Respond quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.

  • Maintain an energy management program to ensure measures are taken to operate all systems in the most efficient manner to keep operating costs at a minimum.

  • Perform assigned day-to-day repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance. Complete maintenance and repairs, and documents as needed.

  • Review assigned work orders. Estimate time and materials needed to complete repair. Orders necessary materials and supplies to efficiently complete the work order at hand.

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of 4 years of related experience and/or trade school training.

  • HVAC experience and relevant certification are required. (Universal Certification)

  • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record with periodic checks

  • Possess skills to functionally operate a "full size" van/truck

  • Required Licensure by AHJ

  • Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs / ladders and ability to lift / carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Mobile Engineer position is $40.86 hourly and the maximum salary for the position is $47.59 hourly. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
