Mammographer                                                                          

Purpose

Human Longevity, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and skilled Mammographer to join our imaging team in San Diego, California. The Mammographer will be responsible for performing high-quality mammographic examinations in accordance with established protocols and guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Perform mammographic examinations, including screening and diagnostic mammograms, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient comfort.

  • Operate and maintain mammography equipment, ensuring proper functionality and cleanliness.

  • Adhere to safety standards and protocols to ensure patient and staff safety, including proper use of radiation protection measures.

  • Provide compassionate and professional care to patients, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns or questions.

  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely interpretation of mammographic images.

  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory and company standards.

  • Stay current with advances in mammography technology and techniques through continuous education and training.

  • Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.

  • Perform DEXA body compositions and CT calcium scores when needed.\

    Required Qualifications

  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Mammography.

  • Valid California Radiologic Technologist license.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mammographer.

  • Strong technical skills and proficiency in operating mammography equipment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Commitment to patient-centered care and high ethical standards.

  • Knowledge of current mammography regulations and standards

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with digital mammography and advanced imaging techniques.

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.

  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
