Starting hourly rate is $24.19, subject to a collective bargaining agreement

Key Responsibilities:

MPA assists and follows shop guidance for component/engine shop priorities. MPA also provides shop support using PCS in terms of labor verification and issuance of shop documents as well as coordinates with planners, buyers, material coordinators, and supervisors to obtain parts for shop units.

  • Analyzing planning data to define workforce, parts, and other resources required to meet production requirements.

  • Assisting in a variety of planning, scheduling, and documentation activities in a hangar/shop work area or an office environment.

  • Will Work closely with Shop Analyst

  • Review and verify daily labor hours in PCS and make corrections as needed. Corrections include adding, modifying, and deleting labor as necessary.

  • Inform supervisor and leads if mechanics are not clocking in and out of the units or unusual labor input incurred.

  • Follow up for parts and create back-orders in SCEPTRE for shop delivery. Update PCS comments, Work order status, and due dates with feedback provided by supervisors/leads.

  • The MPA will be responsible for the integrity and accountability of an assigned paper package, appropriate labor data transactions and any other required computer system data updates specified by the Company.

  • Communicate with Production Management on the status of paper packages and other issues that require immediate attention to meet organization objectives.

  • Coordinate assigned functions in the production environment including a hangar, shop, or office and is a point of contact for Management and Technicians.

Qualifications

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Able to work a midnight shift, swing shift or day shift, weekend coverage and/ or flexible schedule

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

  • Regular attendance and punctuality in accordance with United's policies is required

  • Sophisticated Digital literacy especially Microsoft Suite Skills

What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Some college-level courses in business management, production planning and control, statistics, and/or data processing, and/or the equivalent work experience

  • A minimum of two years of related experience

  • Ability to read manuals

  • Experience in Microsoft office tools such as Excel; Word etc.

  • Experience using various systems such as PCS, TOCS, and Sceptre
