Position Summary

Innosight Healthcare Strategy & Innovation:

Healthcare organizations must stay ahead of disruption by making data-driven decisions that accelerate transformation. Innosight thoroughly examines the intricate patient care challenges encountered by payor and provider healthcare entities to stabilize business today and create tomorrow’s growth engine. Qualifications

Responsibilities:

This is a high-responsibility and high-impact role that requires the Director to be a thought leader and problem-solver on the team leading team efforts. They will liaise with internal senior leadership and managing the day-to-day contact and relationship with the client to ensure the project work stays on track and drives impact.

The Director’s responsibilities and impact will include:

  • Lead the development of new innovative business models aimed at catalyzing future growth strategies.

  • Provide unique guidance on navigating market ambiguity, uncovering consumer needs, and leveraging data to assess new transformation strategies and market approaches.

  • Advise C-level executives and boards on business model transformation, culture change, customer experience, and innovation to unlock new avenues for growth.

  • Contribute to the development of future-oriented growth strategies, the acceleration of new business opportunities, and the enhancement of innovation capabilities.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Lead problem structuring, analysis and synthesis

  • Lead the development of hypotheses that will help clients solve their innovation related business challenges

  • Lead complex, multi-workstream strategy engagements to develop and execute a detailed work plan for the entire project

  • Ability to seamlessly shift gears and constantly reset the team’s direction with frequently-changing client needs

  • Oversee the qualitative and quantitative research efforts of the team

  • Develop end-to-end documents with logical storyline and flow

  • Prepare and own development of all client deliverables

  • Lead client meetings including the presentation of key insights

  • Contribute directly to practice and firm development

  • Work closely with Managing Directors to support business development and revenue generation efforts

  • Actively manage the individual professional development of junior employees

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of consulting experience with a top management consulting firm, with significant experience leading teams and client engagements on a range of growth and innovation strategy issues

  • Expert-level knowledge within the healthcare industry working with various provider and payor organizations including hospital systems, hospitals, health plans, insurers, etc

  • Innosight requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a field related to this position or equivalent work experience

  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills

  • Proven thought leader with intellectual curiosity and superior ability to use reason, logic and creativity to solve ambiguous problems

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, generate clear work plans, and lead junior employees

  • Skillful communicator who is comfortable, effective, and influential in meetings with senior management teams

  • Self-starter that can thrive in an unstructured and collaborative team environment

  • Travel and Home Office: Willingness to travel weekly (Monday-Thursday) as needed is required and living location can be anywhere within the contiguous 48 states and near a major airport.

The estimated base salary range for this job is $215,000 - $250,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $311,750 - $362,500. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
