The AWS Americas Industry team is looking for an experienced Fashion & Apparel Industry Leader to join our fast-paced team to work with our strategic partners to lead and execute AWS Retail & Consumer Packaged Goods (RTLCPG) Partner strategy for the Americas. As the Head of Fashion & Apparel - Retail for the Americas, you will be owning & managing the Fashion & Apparel Partner business for Americas RTLCPG segment. You will be aligned to our WW RTLCPG Partner Strategy Leaders, and be responsible for executing the WW strategy in Americas, encompassing the recruitment, incubation, and growth acceleration of AWS RTLCPG Partners. Additional responsibilities include Fashion & Apparel Industry partner pipeline management in the Americas, contributing to the RTLCPG partner ecosystem strategy, managing strategic relationships with influential Technology (ISV), Consulting (G/SI), and driving CXO-level relationships with Fashion & Apparel customers, and partners.

You will be an expert in running a business, as well as technically savvy enough to drive innovation, ease in doing business, and top and bottom-line revenue growth. You should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about new business models, solution selling, and partner engagement to help build and convey compelling value propositions for AWS customers through AWS Partners. You should also have a proven track record of influencing innovation through partners with prior solution and program successes. 6+ years industry work experience with a Fashion & Apparel company is strongly preferred.

Additional experience consulting or business development specifically with Fashion & Apparel companies is preferred

Key job responsibilities

Owning & managing the P&L for Retail Fashion & Apparel Partner business for AMER RTLCPG segment.

Enhancing, executing, and accelerating the Global RTLCPG Partner strategic plan for AMER which includes aligning with partner development managers and account managers who manage our top AWS technology and consulting companies.

Be part of the AMER Industry Team to drive the overall global AWS RTLCPG partner strategy to our internal and external stakeholders including the AWS sales teams, partner sales, as well as media coverage and industry events.

Build C-level relationships with our top Fashion & Apparel customers.

Execute go-to-market and routes-to-market plans that have clear and measurable ROI.

Represent the AWS RTLCPG partner strategy internally and externally including presenting at Executive Briefings and Conferences.

Prioritize AWS investment in partners who focus on RTLCPG, including leading startups, consulting companies, and established ISV/SaaS technology vendors.

Work closely with AWS Field and Partner Marketing to promote the benefits of working with AWS Retail Competency Partners.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience

  • 5+ years of professional or military experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level

  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations

  • Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
