Robert Half Full Charge Bookkeeper in San Francisco, California

Description We are searching for a competent Full Charge Bookkeeper to become a part of our team in San Francisco, California. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing all facets of bookkeeping, including Accounts Payable (AP) and billing. This role provides a long-term contract employment opportunity in a hybrid workplace setting.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the Accounts Payable (AP) function, ensuring bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner.

• Handle customer-facing accounting tasks with proficiency.

• Utilize Deltek Azura software for various accounting operations.

• Manage and resolve customer inquiries effectively.

• Conduct regular monitoring of customer accounts and take necessary actions when required.

• Process a high volume of invoices, maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

• Assist the Accounting Manager with departmental training and management tasks.

• Collaborate with the team to improve the department's systems and processes.

• Ensure all customer credit applications are processed accurately and efficiently.

• Maintain accurate records of customer credit information. Requirements • Possession of a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Full Charge Bookkeeper role or similar

• Proficiency in Deltek software

• Demonstrated competence in handling Accounts Payable (AP)

• Proven track record in managing billing processes

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Working knowledge of standard accounting principles and procedures

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office especially Excel

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

• Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new accounting practices and software

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
