Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in the industry, located in San Francisco, California. This role is primarily remote, allowing the flexibility to work from a personal laptop, with data shared primarily through QuickBooks and occasionally Google Sheets.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the company's compliance with non-profit and federal government regulations.

• Manage and update files related to various grant activities.

• Utilize QuickBooks for financial record keeping and tax preparation, ensuring it is correctly set up for tax purposes.

• Facilitate the transfer of financial information as needed.

• Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth operations and task completion.

• Assist in the preparation and submission of 501c tax forms.

• Oversee the processing and management of annual tax provisions and income tax provisions.

• Monitor and maintain State tax records.

• Ensure the fiscal readiness for the years 2023 and 2024. Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a Full Charge Bookkeeper role or similar

• Proficiency in Annual Tax Provision for non-profit organizations

• Demonstrated skills in Annual Income Tax Provision

• Comprehensive knowledge of State Tax procedures and regulations

• Proficiency in using Quickbooks Online

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferable

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively

• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
