Robert Half Financial Analyst in San Francisco, California

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic-minded Financial Analyst. This person will assist the finance department in analyzing financial statuses, performing budget forecasting, creating financial models, and assisting with decision-making processes that align with our strategic vision.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with ongoing financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes.

  • Developing financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives.

  • Evaluating current and previous financial data.

  • Identifying trends in financial performance and providing recommendations for improvement.

  • Providing financial models and forecasting analysis with a focus on trends and key financial indicators.

  • Preparing detailed monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.

  • Providing analysis of trends and forecasts and recommending actions for optimization.

  • Participating in cross-departmental collaboration on key projects.

  • Understanding and communicating the financial impact of business decisions.

  • Participating in continuous improvement efforts, recommending any necessary changes to optimize financial performance.

    Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a financial analyst or similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting methods, financial data analysis and statutory accounting principles.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial forecasting software.

  • Outstanding analytical and detail-oriented abilities.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to streamline functions and passion to learn and grow.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with executive-level management.

  • CFA/CPA or other similar qualifications will be considered a plus.
