APTIM Construction CDL Truck Driver in San Francisco, California

Job Overview:

APTIM Federal Services, LLC team has several projects at Hunters Point Naval Shipyard, San Francisco, CA. The projects will investigate, excavate, and restore properties that have environmentally and radiologically impacted soil; restore the shoreline and construct seawalls in support of the redevelopment of the San Francisco Bay waterfront. We are seeking a construction workforce who are up to the operational challenges of these high profile and critically important projects. These projects pay the Federal prevailing wage scale (Davis-Bacon Act).

Construction Heavy Truck Driver who is capable of operating 12-to-15-yard dump truck and 2000 gal to 4000 gal water truck.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Operate dump trucks and water trucks in a safe and proficient manner

  • Ensure proper maintenance and fueling of vehicles

  • Maintain daily documentation of inspections and other required paperwork.

  • Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules, including wearing required personal safety equipment Perform other duties, including periodic labor, as required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Possess proper state required driver's license and successfully pass DMV audits

  • Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen

  • Preferred applicant will have current OSHA HAZWOPER training.

  • Minimum 3 years' relevant construction experience and live locally (daily commute) to Hunter's Point.
