We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk - Accounts Payable in SAN FRANCISCO, California. The job function revolves around processing and maintaining accounts payable records, ensuring the accurate entry of invoices, and working closely with finance professionals. The role also involves account reconciliation, data entry, and handling client expenses in an efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

• Handle incoming invoices and coordinate with the finance team for appropriate action.

• Prioritize accounts payable as a crucial aspect of the job.

• Ensure accurate and detailed entry of invoices and conduct regular check runs.

• Perform credit card reconciliations for various stakeholders.

• Utilize software such as QuickBooks Pro for efficient task completion.

• Exhibit a proactive approach in identifying and addressing potential issues.

• Conduct month-end reconciliations of credit card statements and accounts payable.

This role requires skills such as Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Data Entry, Invoice Processing, Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks Pro, Credit Card Reconciliation, Month End Close, and Check Runs.

Requirements • Possess at least 1 year of experience in an Accounting Clerk or similar role

• Proficient in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP)

• Ability to perform Data Entry tasks with high accuracy

• Experience in Invoice Processing is essential

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks Pro software

• Familiarity with Credit Card Reconciliation procedures

• Able to assist with Month End Close activities

• Experience in performing Check Runs is preferred
