Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Account Manager with a strong background in retail or shopper marketing to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing merchandising strategies through retailer programs, planograms, and merchandising guides.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the account, serving as key liaison between client and internal teams, facilitating clear communication across teams and helping to keep client goals top of mind. You will work closely with producers and our internal retail studio, coordinating end-to-end merchandising strategies to ensure flawless execution.

The Account Manager also plays a crucial role in supporting senior team members. You will field questions, provide clarity on campaign deliverables, and contribute valuable insights at every stage of the process.

Responsibilities

Client Management:

  • Serve as a point of contact for select client accounts, providing updates and ensuring programs and product.

  • Organize client meetings and presentations, capturing the detail of discussions and issuing meeting notes with clear next steps and responsibilities

  • Gather feedback and translate client requests into actionable tasks for internal teams.

  • Build trust and solid relationships with clients, serve as their as day-to-day contact, sometimes across multiple clients/lines of business.

  • Partner and collaborate with other Agency Departments on project deliverables, to ensure the best work is always going to the clients.

  • Set your Agency Team up for success at every turn – anticipate the needs of your teammates and get them the information they need to do their job most successfully.

  • Curate weekly client status documents and issue to client; co-manages client call with Business Lead

Retail and In-Store Planning:

  • Collaborate with the client to become the go-to expert on retailer programs and product categories, gathering insights to merchandising strategies to guide producers and the studio in delivering effective work.

  • Translate the client's in-store vision into clear, actionable briefs for producers and the studio to create planograms and merchandising guides.

  • Develop in depth knowledge of in-store regions, programs, product categories, merchandising fixtures, and merchandising principles.

  • Support the planning, creation, and execution of product launches, category updates, new programs, sustain and graphic updates.

  • Support in reporting key metrics, including demo forecasts, product placements, merchandising ancillary items, graphics reports and locations, as well as planogram and fixture placements.

  • Act as the internal team’s primary point of contact, ensuring clear communication, alignment on objectives, and adherence to timelines and deliverables.

  • Work closely with creative and production teams to ensure production documents align with client goals and industry best practices.

Ensuring Excellent Delivery:

  • Work closely with Project Manager to inform timelines and ensure the agency is tracking on client delivery

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.

  • Coordinate last-minute client requests, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth execution of ad hoc tasks.

  • Communicate schedules and project deliverables to client and internal teams.

  • Oversee the final setup and quality assurance of all deliverables.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of professional experience, which may include marketing, advertising, and account management agency experience

  • Prior experience in retail, field and/or in-store marketing is a strong preference

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to execute campaigns successfully.

  • Be able to form trusting relationships internally and externally.

  • Results-focused with ability to multi-task and prioritize within a dynamic environment.

  • Strong organization and time management skills, with excellent attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Compensation Range: $49,305 - $71,645 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
