We are currently seeking a Validation Engineer to be responsible for the qualification of various Analytical Laboratory Instruments & Software as well as, manufacturing equipment. This is a 6+ month project in the East San Francisco Bay Area. 90% onsite work.

Responsibilities:

• Qualification of various Analytical Laboratory Instruments and Software including HPLCs, UPLCs, GCs, Ovens, Karl Fischers, FTIRs. Validating LabX, Empower and Agilent OpenLab software with a focus on data integrity.

• Qualification of Mixers, Sprayers, Coaters, Sealers, etc.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• 3+ Years GMP experience qualifying QC Instruments and manufacturing equipment and validating associated software

• Bachelors Degree in a related field. 

• Prior experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry 

• Ambitious and self-starting attitude to take on responsibilities and own process improvements

• Ability to collaborate fluidly with peers, supervisors and cross functional support groups required

• Exceptional written, oral communication, and organizational skills required independently and with strategic collaborators
