Washroom Operator I

Catalent Pharma Solutions is hiring a Washroom Operator I Second Shift in San Diego, CA. The Washroom Operator is responsible for executing equipment cleaning, equipment sampling, suite/facility cleaning, and equipment control in support of GMP operations. This individual will function as a member of the Equipment Team; must demonstrate excellent communication, organization, and time management skills, and will work with multiple departments across the organization.

Work hours are 2nd shift (2pm-10:30pm) . Employees are required to work overtime as necessary per department/site needs.

The Role (daily responsibilities)

• Support disassembly of manufacturing equipment prior to cleaning

• Prepare solutions for manufacturing equipment cleaning

• Participate in manufacturing equipment cleaning

• Assist with sample manufacturing equipment for cleaning verification

• Document sampling procedure and submit results for approval

• Data entry and analysis to oversee and improve the equipment turnover process

• Support cleaning of the production suites and facility

• Assist with control/status/location of GMP equipment

• Other duties as assigned

The Candidate (requirements)

• High School Diploma or equivalency required

• 0+ year experience in a GMP environment, but 1+ years of experience preferred.

• Knowledgeable with computer programs Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook

• Preferred knowledgeable in use of all basic hand tools

• Ability to accurate take detailed measurements.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instruction (oral and written), Required to demonstrate excellent communication skills.

• Strong time management and organization skills with an understanding of scheduling/deadlines and prioritizing tasks independently.

• Physical requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and walk, stand or sit for extended periods.

Pay:

• The annual pay range for this position in California is $40,000 – $46,000 annually. The final salary offered to a successful candidate may vary, and will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to: the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, skillset, education, business needs, etc. Catalent is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
