Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Staff Accountant to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. Responsibilities include auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements and calculating tax payments and returns. The successful candidate will have strong numerical skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles to accurately manage our financial records.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process financial statements according to deadlines.

• Manage all aspects of accounting including billing, financial statements, general ledger, cost accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, and tax compliance.

• Coordinate and execute annual audits.

• Prepare financial reports for forecasting, trend analyses, and results evaluation.

• Comply with all government reporting requirements and tax filings.

• Provide fiscal support to fundraising activities.

• Collaborate with the Finance Director in crafting budgets and financial planning.

  Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

• At least 3 years of experience in a non-profit accounting role.

• Proficient in MS Office and popular accounting software.

• Non-profit experience and knowledge of non-profit GAAP and fund accounting principles.

• Strong analytical skills paired with a detail-oriented approach.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
