Intuit Senior Product Manager, QuickBooks Live in San Diego, California

Come join the QuickBooks Live team as a Senior Product Manager responsible for building our customer-facing workflows. QuickBooks Live connects small business customers to virtual experts, creating a partnership that ensures customers get the best help they need to start, run, and grow their businesses. QuickBooks Live is a four year old startup within Intuit with multiple well-funded competitors going after the $10+ billion assisted bookkeeping market.

One of the top customer problems of our offering is helping small businesses navigate Quickbooks efficiently and effectively. Today, some customers can get stuck and experience frustration when using Intuit products which makes our customers inefficient. This role will give customers the confidence that Intuit is right beside them as they navigate through our product which will make their business and employees thrive; and in many instances - survive. There is a massive opportunity to re-imagine how our workflows are implemented and perfected to ensure our product stays best-in-class across web, mobile, and our experts. As a Senior Product Manager, you’ll drive the product strategy and execution - making your vision into a reality.

What you'll bring

  • 5+ years' experience as a product manager.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, unstructured environment.

  • Passionate for solving customer problems (the big ones and the small ones).

  • Demonstrated prior success in creating innovative products that delivered awesome outcomes.

  • Track record of leading initiatives across an organization involving multiple product teams.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all organizational levels.

  • Deeply curious and data-driven. Develops and defends strong points-of-view with data and voice of customer.

  • Excels in driving cross-functional teams.

  • Undergraduate degree required with concentration in computer science or other technical disciplines preferred or equivalent relevant experience.

How you will lead

  • Lead the QuickBooks Live workflows product strategy to deliver delightful experiences - owning the "why" and the "what".

  • Drive execution by motivating and coordinating across your cross-functional partners - owning the "how".

  • Demonstrated product management skills that include:

  • Ability to gather deep qualitative and quantitative customer insights.

  • Translate customer insights into prioritized customer pain points.

  • Translate pain points into solutions that can be tested with customers.

  • Define and own success metrics.

  • Define an ideal state to produce experience and break it up into a roadmap that can quickly validate key assumptions by running experiments.

  • Motivating and engaging your design, engineering, and service delivery partners.

  • Communicating effectively with key stakeholders and senior leadership.
