The Consumer Group Finance team is responsible for financial analysis and decision support for the TurboTax suite of products that are used by millions of taxpayers every year. We play a unique and critical role in driving business decisions and optimizing financial outcomes for the Consumer Group.

The Consumer Group Finance team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to provide investment and decision support to our Marketing team. This person will play a key role in our forecasting and reporting processes and will be tasked with analyzing marketing investment and performance data in support of future investment recommendations. This role will be heavily involved in key planning processes & executive reviews and will partner very closely with both our Marketing and Analytics organizations.

What you'll bring

  • Detail-oriented individual who can quickly and accurately comprehend, manipulate, and prepare financial models and analyses from large and sometimes ambiguous datasets. Excellent problem-solving skills and end-to-end quantitative thinking are a must

  • High degree of organization, individual initiative, intellectual curiosity, personal accountability, and a commitment to driving results in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities simultaneously

  • Well-rounded interpersonal skills with the capacity to build strong relationships and collaborate across multiple stakeholders at varying levels

  • Ability to effectively communicate, telling stories with data, instilling confidence, educating, and motivating stakeholders to act on recommendations

  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets required. Working knowledge of SQL is strongly preferred

  • 3-5 years of Finance experience or equivalent tenure from related positions (experience in technology or other high growth companies preferred)

  • Degree in a field such as business, finance, economics, statistics or mathematics, or equivalent work experience; MBA preferred

How you will lead

  • Collaborate with Marketing and Finance teams on key investment decisions including campaign management & funding, monthly & quarterly budget allocations, and managing P&L risks and opportunities

  • Partner with Marketing and Analytics organizations to analyze and communicate campaign & channel performance results

  • Provide insight into investment optimization and decisioning, with a critical focus on driving investment efficiencies

  • Analyze the impact of different initiatives and acquisition marketing programs. Partner with the business on recommended changes to optimize financial returns

  • Manage complex processes and ambiguous situations while collaborating with multiple teams

  • Drive various analyses that deliver data-driven insights in a coherent and structured manner to promote decision making and business outcomes that accelerate our growth trajectory

  • Communicate effectively in both verbal and written form with TurboTax business partners
