Job Description

A major medical technology company is seeking a Product Engineer to join their Global Operations Team to handle system implementations, and support/administration of on-prem infrastructure and platform services. This role will be operating in a 24/7 production support environment, so experience in this type of environment on a rotational schedule is important. The Product Engineer will manage IT systems in both data center and cloud environments like Azure, ensuring security, reliability, and scalability.

About half of their time will be spent handling tickets and addressing any issues, ensuring smooth operations. The other half will involve building and releasing products, as well as assisting developers with troubleshooting production issues. This individual will also use PowerShell for automation tasks and T-SQL for database management tasks. Overall, this role will play a key role in maintaining and improving the team's infrastructure and processes.

Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Product or Systems Engineer in a production environment

• Background in networking with Firewall and App Gateway experience highly preferred

• Experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog

• Experience working in cloud environments - either Azure or AWS preferred

• Scripting experience using tools like PowerShell, T-SQL, and Octopus - Experience working in highly regulated environment similar to a healthcare/medical environment

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• Programming experience - specifically doing builds and understanding the full dev lifecycle null
