Intuit Principal Product Manager: Security, Compliance Risk and Fraud in San Diego, California

You will join Intuit’s Security Research and Development organization, as a Principal Product Manager in the Compliance, Security, Risk and Fraud prevention domain. The Security R&D team is tasked with building the Intuit capabilities and solutions required to prevent fraudsters and bad actors abusing Intuit offerings and protect Intuit’s customers from malicious activity. Our products empower Risk and fraud prevention Policy, Analysts, Ops and data scientists to quickly detect, investigate and respond to real time fraud attacks as well as ongoing mitigation of regulatory compliance risk and prevent activities from sanctioned entities.

In this role, your focus would be to build the vision and roadmap to accelerate our business operations platform, tools and capabilities to evaluate and manage risk, in service of our business growth strategy, enhanced customer and analyst experience and improved trust on our platform. Our customers and partners are strongly technical and this role requires a strong display of driving technical partnership and influence leading to strong business outcomes.

What you'll bring

  • 8+ years of product management experience

  • Experience with leading and building high performing teams

  • Track record in defining and delivering awesome products solving big customer needs

  • Proven ability to develop and champion a product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a product area in support of customer needs and company objectives

  • Experience with Agile development and methodologies being the product owner

  • Track record of working closely with customers, partners, listening and taking a customer-focused approach to strategy and priorities - passion for the customer

  • Undergraduate degree required; focus in computer science preferrable; MBA is a plus; equivalent experience will be considered

How you will lead

  • End-to-end ownership of customer lifecycle risk, spanning all product offerings to ensure a seamless experience across the ecosystem

  • Develop deep customer empathy and detailed understanding of the customer journey minimizing friction through automated real-time decisions and effortless offline processes

  • Transform risk platform with scalable capabilities to serve a global audience, stitching data across numerous data sources to manage security, fraud, financial risk and regulatory compliance.

  • Leverage customer insights to formulate a compelling platform vision, then develop hypotheses and initiatives to deliver that vision; create, measure and own success metrics

  • Build strong relationships with product, engineering, risk and operations teams to influence and align on platform roadmap

  • Establish product delivery timelines in close collaboration with development teams; communicate frequently and clearly with other teams and leaders across the business

  • Ruthlessly prioritize initiatives and drive work with strong focus on process and tactical execution

  • Knows when and how to be scrappy and entrepreneurial, hypothesis driven and analytical; exercises strong judgment when balancing risks and while making trade-off decision
