Description
In this role, you will be a key member of the Systems Engineering team working on mobility control features for 5G-NR and LTE.
Minimum Qualifications
BS with 3 plus years of industry experience.
Good understanding of 5G-NR or LTE standards: RRC and PHY specifically.
In-depth knowledge of Wireless Communication Systems.
Experience with Matlab, C/C++, Javascript and/or Python for system-level simulation, workflow automation, data analysis and visualization.
Strong theoretical, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in modem chipset design and bring up.
Familiar with NR/LTE reference signal design, cell search/measurement and mobility behavior.
Familiar with key RRC signaling flows between UE and network.
Ability to make proper design tradeoff considering power, performance and complexity.
Ability to understand performance impact under external restrictions such as coexistence issues.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $135,400 and $250,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
