Job Description

An employer in the San Diego area is looking for a secret cleared Mid-level Logistics Specialist to join their team. This person is responsible for supporting the communication systems on submarines in tracking the logistics of spare parts, training, maintenance, or technical documentation throughout its entire lifecycle. The Logistics specialist will be responsible for writing documents such as Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP), Navy Training System Plans (NTSP), and Logistics Requirement Funding Summaries (LRFS). They will work on a team with seven other logistics specialists and provide input to integrated master schedulers, and attend integrated logistics support meetings. The ideal candidate has experience with developing budgets and operating spend plans for programs, and logistics experience within the Navy or similar acquisition programs with the DoD.

Skills and Requirements

-3-5+ years logistics experience within the Navy or supporting a similar acquisition program within DoD.

-Active secret clearance, ability to obtain TS/SCI

-Bachelor's degree or 4+ years military experience

-Experience with Microsoft suite and outlook -Sec-DAWIA Level II

-Active TS/SCI null
