We currently have a great opportunity in our Services Spares Supply Chain function and are hiring for a Logistics Analyst, Service Spares responsible for overseeing day to day operations and processing of assigned 3rd party module repairs. You will be responsible for:

  • Processing RMA’s from initial receipt at vendor site through repair process and accountable for creating all documentation in Oracle ensuring data integrity.

  • Monitoring global demand/supply management performance against planned target levels, reverse logistics and 4 elements of Lifecycle planning in the repair/buy decision.

  • Ensuring customer satisfaction, efficient processes and reduction of equipment downtime while balancing inventory and repair/distribution costs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversees Global Return Material Authorization (RMA) process for assigned platform to ensure minimal repair cycle while maximizing materials available

  • Utilize RMA reports and monitor timely return performance from the field and from vendors

  • Maintain assigned repair parts Lifecycle planning utilizing Baxter (Prophet) as the planning tool ensuring data integrity for robust business planning while maximizing turnaround times

  • Provides priority scheduling for vendors and in house processing

  • Job performance measured by a balanced scorecard of service levels, inventory and repair costs

  • Performs Supplier invoicing approvals

  • Responsible for Vendor Management and Relationship

  • Quality follow up on SCARS and CAPA’s

  • Prepares monthly metrics reports for various departmental performances (repairs, deliveries, costs, etc.) using Pareto analysis, charts, tables and graphs.

  • Recommends and participates in IS solutions (Oracle, Agile, Baxter QlikView, etc.) to streamline repairable processes and turnaround times

  • Respond to inquiries on order status and parts information as required

  • Provide Financial business partner with budget for assigned SKU’s and other analysis as required

  • Works closely with Engineering on Lifecycle management for repairable modules

  • Responsible for Part II Planning and coordination of engineering changes for assigned SKU’s

  • Ensure parts are reserved and scrapped in a timely manner

  • Ensure data integrity for all areas controlled by Service Logistics

  • Attends cross functional team meetings representing assigned platforms

  • Identify and drive opportunities for process improvements

  • Provide training and guidance to department employees as needed

  • Special projects as needed in both lead and supporting roles and other duties as assigned

Expected Qualifications and Experience:

  • AA in a related discipline or 3-5 years’ related experience

  • CPIM Education/Certification from APICS a plus

  • Lean Training with a focus on continuous improvement

  • 2+ Years working with a Third Party Logistics Provider

  • Working knowledge of ERP systems including MRP, demand planning, inventory part chaining, master data, and distribution, preferably in Oracle

  • Strong analytical and data management skills including a high level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel along with other computer office applications

  • Basic knowledge of cost accounting

  • Experience with QlikView or similar BI reporting tools

  • Experience in a Bio-Tech or Pharmaceutical company a plus

  • cGMP and ISO exposure, knowledge and experience

The annualized base salary range for this role is $74,900 to $117,200 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
