Rady Children's Hospital San Diego Lead, Social Worker II (School Based) - Psychiatry Resources in San Diego, California

This is a casual, grant funded position which is subject to renewal by 06/30/2025.

JOB SUMMARY:

This position is a school based lead working in the Central, East, and South (CES) School Based Program. As part of the San Diego County Behavioral Health SchooLink contract, CES providers provides services to children, youth, and families in the community at 8 different schools across San Diego Unified School District, Grossmont Unified School District, and Santee Unified School District with the main offices at the Rady Children's Hospital's Health Services Building in Kearny Mesa.

Lead, Social Worker II Provides clinical oversight to members of the social work team including individual and peer case consultation and feedback, and in-service training, as needed. Provides direct service provision for children and families; assists in building and maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external customers (i.e. hospital and community partners).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Master's Degree

3 Years of Experience

State of California license LCSW; or LMFT

Computer skills sufficient to train and oversee quality of data entry and electronic charting, utilize program compliance reports, and produce program forms, educational materials, and visual presentations.

Prior experience which demonstrates the ability to plan, organize, lead others and train team members.

Experience in assessment and treatment of children and adolescents

CA Driver's License and Auto Insurance: Kids and Teens in Court (KTIC)-Chadwick

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

4 Years of Experience

Experience working in mental or behavioral health setting

Knowledge of evidence-based practices utilized in clinical interventions

One year experience in a leadership role

The expected hiring range for this position is $39.51 to $54.33
