We are providing an opportunity for an experienced IT Infrastructure Director in the Financial Services industry, based in San Diego, California. The role involves managing all IT infrastructure and related IT operations across the company, and reporting to the Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer. Furthermore, the position includes line management responsibilities for Network Administrators and Systems Administrators/ Engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all tasks related to staff management, including performance reviews, accountability mapping, and disciplinary actions

• Collaborate with direct reports to nurture their development and career progression

• Ensure all functions assigned to direct reports are completed efficiently and timely

• Oversee the analysis of infrastructure needs and provide guidance to direct reports relating to infrastructure architecture, integration, and installation

• Ensure the maintenance, upgrades, and patching of all infrastructure are completed timely and efficiently with minimal interruption to business

• Introduce innovative, differentiating infrastructure and operations capabilities that enhance our overall competitive capabilities and enhance employee productivity

• Work with vendors and internal parties to ensure that the company's computing system platform provides sufficient resources to deliver the level of service and performance as required by the business

• Evaluate the company's existing systems and requirements to align with business needs

• Ensure appropriate documentation for assigned systems are created and maintained

• Partner with Information Security leadership to ensure infrastructure is compliant with the company Information Security Program and all applicable state and federal regulations

• Partner with Helpdesk leadership to define, develop, and manage a comprehensive and integrated IT Service Management (ITSM) landscape, based on best-practice processes, disciplines, and related toolsets, such as ITIL and COBIT.

Requirements • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role within the Financial Services industry

• Proficient in Cisco Technologies and Cloud Technologies

• Extensive knowledge and experience in Database Management

• Experience with EO/IR systems is mandatory

• Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Expertise in Active Directory and Backup Technologies

• Solid understanding of Computer Hardware and Configuration Management

• Experience in managing Contracts

• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a must

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

• Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills

• Ability to strategize and make sound IT decisions for the betterment of the company

• Must be able to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

• Excellent project management skills
