Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Director 1, Supply Chain Programs 1 role to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in Global Supply Chain. This position will be onsite in Palmdale, CA, Rancho Bernado, CA or El Segundo, CA.

The position will lead the Global Supply Chain (GSC) organization for the ATDC program within Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems. The role will be responsible, accountable and have authority for supply chain strategy, planning and execution across a diverse program portfolio. The selected candidate will be a high performing, experienced leader who is goal oriented and well equipped to partner with a wide range of stakeholders to support corporate, sector, and division objectives, including program execution and financial performance. They will leverage a solid understanding of supply chain processes and work closely with program stakeholders and across functions to optimize results in a classified environment.

Execution:

• Key leadership interface for VP Program Manager

• Responsible and accountable for the strategy, planning, and execution of all material content for major aircraft programs

• Provides leadership for the GSC organization in a matrixed environment, ensuring strategies and plans are aligned with the business areas

• Leads process improvement initiatives and optimization efforts

• Will participate in leadership meetings, collaborating across functions for supply chain solutions

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 10 years OR Masters with at least 8 years of experience of experience in supply chain management, project management, sustainment, proposals, procurement, resource planning

• Experience leading in a matrixed environment

• Must have Cost Account Management experience

• Must have Aerospace & Defense experience

• At minimum, an active DoD Secret level clearance is required to apply and to start the role, with the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the Company to meet its business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience briefing executive-level audiences

• Solid understanding of supply chain metrics and key performance indicators

• Extensive supplier management experience

• PAR

Salary Range: $190,600 - $286,000

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
