Description

Our client is a dedicated nonprofit organization committed to improving community health, providing education & supporting environmental sustainability. We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Customer Service Representative to join their team and help us achieve their mission.

The Customer Service Representative will be the first point of contact for our beneficiaries, donors, and partners. This position requires a friendly and empathetic individual who can handle inquiries, provide information, and resolve issues effectively. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring excellent service and support to our stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer and respond to incoming phone calls, emails, and inquiries from beneficiaries, donors, and partners.

  • Provide accurate information about our programs, services, and initiatives.

  • Assist beneficiaries with program enrollment and service-related inquiries.

  • Maintain and update beneficiary and donor records in our database.

  • Handle and resolve complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

  • Support fundraising and outreach efforts by providing excellent customer service to donors.

  • Participate in training and development programs to stay updated on organization policies and procedures.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Proven experience as a customer service representative or in a similar role.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships.

  • Empathy and patience when dealing with beneficiaries and donors.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and customer service software.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Passion for the nonprofit sector and commitment to the organization’s mission.
