THIS IS A 2nd SHIFT POSITION FROM 3:00p to 11:00p.

As a Crane Supervisor, you will:

  • Coordinate and assign crane operator schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all projects and tasks.

  • Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations, conducting regular inspections of equipment and work sites to identify and address potential hazards.

  • Oversee transportation logistics, including coordinating the movement of trucks and cranes to and from job sites and ensuring timely delivery of equipment.

  • Collaborate with project managers and other team members to plan and execute crane operations in alignment with project timelines and objectives.

  • Coordinate maintenance and repairs of cranes, ensuring that equipment is properly maintained and serviced to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.

  • Maintain accurate records of crane operations, including scheduling, maintenance, and safety inspections, and prepare reports as needed.

  • Allocate personnel and resources to efficiently support all contracts (including shift work) and work items.

  • Oversee and monitor schedule performance, including review of ongoing and upcoming projects, investigation of late activities, project supervision, and the development of practical solutions.

  • Monitor and evaluate project budget performance, including review of ongoing and upcoming projects, development of productivity enhancements and investigation of over-budget items.

  • Monitor productivity across all shifts, including the amount and type of work assigned as well as the quality and quantity of work accomplished.

  • Perform personnel related functions including, but not limited to, the supervision of employees, performance management, workforce reductions, promotions, demotions, and discipline.

  • Ensure that employees understand and adhere to Company policies.

  • Train and motivate employees in the areas of technical knowledge, safety, environmental and communication.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent degree and at least 5 years experience.

  • NCCCO or equivalent certifications

  • Proven experience in crane operations and logistics management.

  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to crane operations.

  • Ability to ready and comprehend NAVSEA standard work items.

  • Demonstrated ability to plan, schedule, supervise, and direct the work of other employees in the relevant trade or industry.

  • Ability to use discretion and judgment in making operations and personnel decisions.

  • Proficient computer skills required including experience with Microsoft Office programs and similar software.

  • Good oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to obtain DBIDS to access Military Base.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

  • Ship Repair Experience

  • Crane Train the Trainer Certifications

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $78760 - $133870

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
