Hourly Pay Range (Minimum - Midpoint - Maximum):

$32.283 - $41.655 - $51.028

The stated pay scale reflects the range that Sharp reasonably expects to pay for this position.  The actual pay rate and pay grade for this position will be dependent on a variety of factors, including an applicant’s years of experience, unique skills and abilities, education, alignment with similar internal candidates, marketplace factors, other requirements for the position, and employer business practices.

What You Will Do

Is the key resource for maintaining the organization's job description warehouse for exempt and non-exempt positions. Works with management and HR team members to create and/or, update new job descriptions. Maintains job code/job description functions within the Talent Management system and the HR/Payroll system. (Workday)

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, human resources or related field.

  • 1 year of experience as a compensation, benefits, or HRIS professional in a large complex organization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Healthcare industry experience.

  • Workday and JDXpert experience.

Essential Functions

  • Audits Upload and run TCC files into database weekly / monthly.Send out missing job role code report to HR weekly.Resolves all audit discrepancies with HR / HRIS and / or Recruitment.

  • Communication and Coordination Coordinates Manager Self Service Web Content:Reviews documents quarterly and makes suggestions for updates / changes (reviews at quarterly VP meeting).Coordinates changes with IT and review and approves modifications before documents are live.Initiates annual changes to documents / forms as appropriate.Coordinates compensation documents within established timeframes (salary ranges, merit, year-end memos, management incentive summary, etc.). Obtains Scope Data annually: Sends email file request to each entity / system finance department (January, due in February).Requests new budget book from Finance (October) and forwards entity combined income statement comparison / combined system financial ration analysis pages to Sr. Compensation Analyst/Consultant.Obtains mini SHC fact sheet form Business Development (January).Maintains Compensation Shared folder:Updates the Nursing Equity Matrix at least quarterly.

  • Data collection and reporting Tracks and reports on job evaluation metrics.Report is produced by end of first pay period within next quarter.Ensures summary totals match individual position level totals on detail tables, ensures all job additions are included.

  • Job code database Manage job code database to ensure accuracy and completeness of data.Performs daily validation, evaluates integrity and accuracy of data.Conduct monthly audit for data integrity between valid job code list and Lawson systems.Distributes updated Job Code Listing monthly to approved parties.Prepares special reports promptly and accurately.

  • Job descriptions and job description database Works with management in drafting job descriptions for review and approval.Reviews and make recommendations to management/HR for suggested changes.Ensures content follows best practices for job descriptions (minimum qualifications listed, competencies are meaningful standards, education requirements are suitable for position, etc.).Ensure certifications and licenses are valid and consistent. Validate submitted licenses prior to SRN mapping to Lawson code (typically for non-clinical positions).Coordinates with Human Resources Operations and appropriate entity Managers/Directors to ensure similar job descriptions are consistent system wide. Initiates and facilitates discussions via email or group meetings to reach a concurrence on job descriptions.Enter new and revised job descriptions into Taleo within 10 business days from SF 39 job role code entry.Update Taleo Production with competency records (keying/logic behind either/or statements, hierarchy, etc.).Maintains Manager and above job description database.Ensure all job descriptions are accounted for and are on record.

  • Job Description/Job Evaluations Acts as a traffic controller for all job description change requests and job evaluations.Ensures submitted information is complete and follows up with HR or submitting manager if additional information is required.Informs manager, HR and Compensation of on-going status.Produces reports from data sources (metrics) on service.

  • Valid job code data base Updates the Valid Job Code Numerical Listing Book.Run query and prints out updated pages and replace in book.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of compensation, benefits, and/or HRIS programs.

  • Experience in working with all levels of employees.

  • Ability to interact with all levels management and influence decisions in a manner that is viewed as positive and non-directive.
