• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing
• Monitor the health status of an individual with disabilities or illness, and address their health-related needs, such as changing bandages, dressing wounds, or administering medication.
• Prepare and serve meals and snacks according to dietary restrictions and preferences
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, and tidying up
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and recreational activities (within the county of San Diego)
• Engage clients in meaningful activities and social interactions to promote mental and emotional well-being
• Monitor and report changes in clients' health status or behavior to the appropriate supervisor
• Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience as a caregiver or personal care attendant preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and their families
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a genuine desire to help others
