MCX (Mobile, Compute and XR) Business Operations is responsible for managing the overall operations for our business unit including demand management, supply/demand, NPI, sustaining lifecycle management and reporting/analytics.

The Business Operations Team for MCX is looking for a Business Operations Manager in San Diego with a strong background in driving initiatives to maximize Supply Demand efficiency, productivity, and profitability. The Business Operations Manager plays a crucial role in optimizing operations for the MCX Business Unit (BU) with a focus on Compute. This position drives data-driven decision-making, supply demand optimization, and collaboration across departments to support MCX business management and growth. The responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with Compute BU Product Managers, Finance, Sales, and Supply Chain teams to manage supply and demand effectively.

• Understanding Compute business strategies related to customer/product planning and capacity forecasting.

• Driving Forecasting and Design Win Tracking.

• Facilitating cross-functional team meetings to align stakeholders on New Product Introduction plans, manufacturing capacity, and supply execution.

• Coordinating closely with BU Operations New Product Introduction, Forecasting, and Sustaining Lifecycle Management teams.

• Serving as the point of contact for customer escalations and resolution from a business operations perspective by working with cross-functional team

• Providing recommendations for process improvements and operational decisions.

• Identify, monitoring and addressing risks, demand shifts, and opportunities based on a deep understanding of the business and available data.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, or related field and 7+ years of business operations or related experience.

OR

Associate's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, or related field and 9+ years of business operations or related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Technical, Marketing, or related field 5+ years business operations or related experience.

• 1+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above).

• 3+ years experience working in a large matrixed organization

• 3+ years of experience managing multiple high visibility, strategic and complex projects with minimal supervision

• 3+ years in using data and analytics to solve problems

• 3+ years experience in Compute industry is a plus

Pay range:

$114,500.00 - $171,500.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
