Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to assist in managing our client's day-to-day accounting and finance requirements in the San Diego, CA area. Confidentiality, excellent organizational skills, and accuracy are important qualifications for this position, as well as good customer relations and the ability to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities:

• Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process

• Utilize and maintain QuickBooks

• Manage accounts payable and receivable

• Balance and maintain accurate ledgers

• Coordinate bank deposits and report financial results on a regular basis to management

• Develop monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets

• Prepare quarterly and monthly tax returns, along with payroll, operating and business taxes

• Monitor financial transactions and reports

• Process accounts receivable and payable

• Process checks

• Understand ledgers and financial statements

  Requirements

• Proven bookkeeping experience

• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles

• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiarity with relevant computer software (e.g., QuickBooks)

• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

• BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration

• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
