Description We are in search of an Accounting Clerk to join our team in the Real Estate & Property industry based in San Diego, California. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in maintaining order in our financial affairs, providing detailed clerical support for all accounting processes. You'll get the chance to use your skills in accounts payable and receivable, data entry, and invoice processing. This position offers a long term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the migration from Sage to Yardi Voyager software

• Handle accounts receivable and payable (AR/AP) tasks to support the financial department

• Conduct regular account reconciliation

• Process invoices and update records

• Ensure accurate data entry and coding to various company entities

• Handle cash deposits and prepare bank reconciliation statements

• Prepare and post journal entries

• Assist in maintaining financial reports

• Responsible for filing relevant financial documents

• Use Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks for accounting tasks

• Provide support to the Assistant Controller and Senior Staff in financial work. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Strong skills in Billing processes

• Proficient in Data Entry

• Prior experience in Invoice Processing

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Knowledge of QuickBooks software

• Experience with Yardi Voyager

• Familiarity with Yardi Software

• Previous work experience in the Real Estate & Property industry
