Robert Half is partnered with a local non-profit who is committed to serving the community. As we approach the close of our fiscal year, we are seeking Project Support Specialist to assist with critical year-end financial reconciliations.

Position Overview: This is a project-based, contract role ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong experience in financial reconciliations and familiarity with NetSuite. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough reconciliations of various accounts, including bank accounts, grants, and donations, to ensure accuracy and readiness for year-end closing.

Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed bank reconciliations to verify all transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.

• Reconcile grant accounts, ensuring that all funds received and expended align with grant stipulations.

• Conduct reconciliations of donation accounts, confirming that all donations are correctly accounted for and allocated.

• Collaborate with the finance team to address any discrepancies and adjust entries as necessary.

• Provide reports on reconciliation status and findings to management.

• Support additional financial tasks as needed to facilitate an orderly year-end close.

  Requirements

Proven experience in account reconciliations, particularly within a non-profit environment.

Strong proficiency in NetSuite is highly desirable.

Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Background in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
