AP Specialist

job summary:

AP Specialist Position

Software company seeking an AP Specialist for a Contract to Hire position. AP Specialist will be working with full cycle Accounts Payable

AP Specialist Responsibilities

  • Full cycle Accounts Payable responsibilities

  • Process invoices and apply invoices to the appropriate month and line items on POs

  • Collaborate with functional departments and provide analysis and overage explanation to the purchases - Process A/P check runs once a week

  • Resolve vendor issues and invoices issues

  • Gather W9 or W8 and prepare 1099 reporting at the year end

  • Follow up with invoice approvers to ensure all invoices are approved timely

  • Follow up with corporate credit card holders to get the receipts

  • Audit expense reimbursement for assigned countries

  • Reconcile AP trade, prepaids, rent and other assigned tasks for monthly close

  • Analyze expenditures and prepare supporting schedules for Facilities' recurring expenses

Requirements

  • at least 2 years of AP experience

  • SAP experience a big plus
