job summary:

We have an immediate need for a Network Administrator/ Field Technician to support a project replacing legacy, end of life network equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning and execution of the replacement of EOL Citrix SDWAN equipment with Fortinet SDWAN equipment.

• Conduct site surveys and assessments to ensure compatibility and readiness for new installations.

• Configure and install Fortinet SDWAN devices, ensuring seamless integration into existing network infrastructure.

• Perform testing and validation to ensure the stability and performance of the new SDWAN setup.

• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the migration process.

• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely and efficient project completion.

• Document all processes, configurations, and changes made during the project.

• Provide training and support to end-users and internal staff as needed.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.

• 1-2 years of experience in networking, preferably with exposure to SDWAN technologies.

• knowledge of Cisco switches is required.

• Familiarity with Citrix and Fortinet network products is a plus.

• analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to travel locally to various sites as required.
