Job Description ? HR Intern

While working under the supervision of the HR team, the Global Intern will coordinate and administer various human resources programs such as compiling and maintaining all personnel records, pre-screening candidates, interview scheduling, candidate follow-up, hiring marketing campaigns, and assisting with new hire orientation. A focus of this role is to work with the international student population at the campus to promote employment opportunities in campus dining locations.

Job Responsibilities

• Supports the HR team as the students' first point of contact for Aramark opportunities on campus.

• Contacts applicants during the candidate lifecycle.

• May assist in conducting student interviews.

• Assists with posting jobs and sourcing qualified candidates.

• Schedules new hire orientation and open interview sessions.

• Assists with new hire orientation, including paperwork.

• Maintains accurate employee files and bulletin board postings on campus.

• Maintains a professional image.

• May speak at New Student Orientation about job opportunities.

• May table to recruit for student positions across campus.

• May attend job fairs as an Aramark representative.

• Generates HR reports as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must have some HR related experience

• Must have experience in public speaking and presentations

• Maintain emotional control under stress

• Ability to resolve interpersonal situations

• Strong organizational skills

• Must be an active international student at Aramark location- University of Texas at San Antonio.
