Our client in San Antonio is looking to fill a permanent position for an Epic - Ambulatory Analyst.

Required Skills:

  • Experience with 1-2 previous implementations of Epic Ambulatory within a large, multi-facility healthcare organization.

  • Hands on Ambulatory Build experience

  • Epic Ambulatory Certification

Candidate Qualifications:

  • We prefer candidates whose perspective extends beyond simply configuring and testing an application.

  • The candidates should have an understanding of the clinical workflows and requirements of our customer stakeholders' experience.

responsibilities:

  • Provides computer technical expertise, project management, technical guidance and direction in the implementation and operation of computer systems; used for financial, clinical and/or administrative systems

  • Organizes and schedules a variety of major and/or complex computer system tasks, including programming, in a timely and proficient manner and in compliance with departmental and policies and procedures.

  • Individual must maintain a good working relationship with co-workers and other staff

  • perform other duties as assigned or defined in the performance evaluation and in the policies and procedures.

Additional responsibilities/ functions:

  • Acts as the primary support contact for the application's end-users

  • Identifies issues that arise in their respective application area as well as issues that impact other application teams, and works to resolve them

  • Guides workflow design, builds and tests the system, and analyzes other technical issues associated with Epic software.

  • Identifies and implements requested changes to the system as needed

  • Serves as a liaison between end users' workflow needs and Epic implementation staff

  • Maintains regular communication with Epic representatives, including participating in weekly project team meetings

  • Works with Epic representatives, Health System's business community, and end-users to ensure the system meets the business needs in regards to the project deliverables and timelines

  • Develops an understanding of operational needs to set the direction for the organization's workflows by attending site visits, validation sessions, and other integrated sessionsP

  • articipates in training and works with end-users as required

  • Troubleshoots problems and questions as they arise.

  • Reviews the status of projects and issues on an ongoing basis with leadership

  • Conducts weekly communications with team members to discuss the status of deliverables, shared issues, end-user concerns, budget, and upcoming milestones

  • Other duties assigned or requested based on team functions and responsibilities

  • Demonstrates competence to perform assigned and general customer assistance responsibilities in a manner that meets the age-specific and developmental needs of customers encountered.

  • Appropriately adapts work and customer assistance methods to accommodate the unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, age-specific and other developmental needs of customers

  • Supports mission, vision and values

  • Demonstrates established customer service behaviors and standards

  • Treats all customers with courtesy, dignity, respect and professionalism

  • Experience level: Experienced

  • Minimum 4 years of experience

  • Education: No Degree Required

skills:

  • Epic (4 years of experience is required)

  • Ambulatory certified

  • Epic Build experience (3 years of experience is required)

  • Epic Implementation experience
