Robert Half Help Desk Analyst I in San Antonio, Texas

Description We are in search of a dedicated Help Desk Analyst I to provide support to both local and field users in San Antonio, Texas. This role is ideal for a creative problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment. The successful candidate will have the chance to make a significant impact on our department and organization by providing top-notch technical support and solutions to our team.

Responsibilities:

• Address and follow up on technical help tickets submitted via phone, email, and walk-ups.

• Provide comprehensive IT support for Windows, Microsoft Office, and other internal applications.

• Independently investigate and implement solutions to technical issues.

• Identify recurring technical issues and propose solutions to address the underlying problems.

• Install and configure Windows OS, networked and local printers, and business applications.

• Perform Windows 7 administration and bug fixing in an Active Directory environment.

• Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills in Microsoft Office applications.

• Understand basic TCP/IP networking concepts.

• Set up and support Audio/Visual systems.

• Work with IT support ticketing systems. Requirements

• Proficient in Desktop Support.

• Demonstrable knowledge of help desk systems and methodologies.

• Strong problem-solving abilities with a creative approach to new ideas.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with other departments.

• Must possess a high degree of patience and positive attitude towards customer service.

• Understanding of IT principles and an ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to a varied audience.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize work effectively.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Must be proactive, with a keen eye for detail, able to identify potential issues before they escalate.

• Willingness to keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends.

• Understanding of confidentiality and data privacy standards and regulations.
